Three real renders: two speakers stacked so you see whoever is talking, a facecam with its own band across the top, and a no-mic play the AI still found from the action.
Before
After
Two speakers, stacked and speaker-aware. Whoever talks holds the top.Interviews and podcasts get a clean stacked split. The active speaker holds the top; the other rotates in below — no one is cropped out of frame.
Every row is verified — no marketing fluff, just what each tool actually does.

Vizard’s paid plans are monthly, and every plan spends one credit per minute of the video you upload. Zoupyu’s packs are bought once, never expire, and one credit clips an hour of whichever stretch you choose.
Pay once. Credits never expire.
One-time payments. Credits stack on purchase and never expire. Refund on failed jobs.
Recurring monthly subscription.
1 credit = 1 minute of uploaded video. Free exports are 720p and kept 3 days. Plans renew automatically.
Vizard spends a credit for every minute of the video you upload, so a three-hour stream costs 180 credits whether or not most of it is worth clipping, and the free plan won’t take a file that long. Zoupyu bills the stretch you pick: one credit clips an hour of it, three clip three hours. Paste a YouTube, Twitch VOD or Google Drive link, keep and trim the moments you want on one timeline, and only those get made. Packs are one-time and never expire.
Vizard reads your video and hands back a set of finished clips. From there you can edit any of them, by deleting transcript text or on a timeline, and that editor is good. But the choosing happens after the making: you sort through what it decided to cut.
Zoupyu stops before that. Every moment it finds sits on one timeline over the source, and on a YouTube video the most-replayed parts are marked too. You play each one, keep it or drop it, drag its start and end to the sentence you want, and fix any caption word. Then the clips you kept get made, and nothing else.
Trimming and caption fixes are possible in both tools, so that is not the difference. The difference is when you get your say.
Vizard counts the length of the video you upload: one credit a minute, so a 60-minute podcast is 60 credits and a three-hour stream is 180. The part of the stream nobody would clip costs the same as the part everyone would. The free plan caps uploads at 60 minutes, so a full stream doesn’t fit at all.
Zoupyu asks which stretch is worth clipping and bills that. One credit covers an hour of it; three cover all three hours. If the good part of a four-hour VOD is one obvious hour, that is one credit.
And the credits are yours to keep. Packs are bought once, with no monthly plan to renew and no allowance that resets. Buy in November, clip in March.
If you clip for a living, the video usually isn’t yours: it is a streamer’s VOD on Twitch or a creator’s upload on YouTube. Zoupyu takes the link directly, YouTube, Twitch VOD or Google Drive, with no channel to connect and no file to download first.
Vizard takes YouTube and Drive links too. It doesn’t document Twitch VOD links, which is where most stream clipping starts.
For streams, Zoupyu also spots the webcam and gives it its own band across the top of the vertical frame, with the gameplay below, and it finds the plays nobody talked over, from the action and the audio.
You are responsible for having the right to clip and post what you process. Fair use and each platform’s terms still apply.
Three things worth knowing about how Zoupyu works.
After transcription, Zoupyu parks the project and shows every moment it found on a timeline over the source, plus a few extras it ranked lower. Keep, drop and trim them, fix caption words, pick a layout and a caption style. Only then does it render, and only what you kept.
For a source longer than your credit covers, you choose the stretch to clip: a free run clips 10 minutes, a paid credit an hour, up to three hours a run. Detection and rendering only touch that stretch, which is why the rest of the file costs nothing.
Sometimes you want the whole video back, not clips. Live Captions burns word-level subtitles onto the full video at its native resolution, up to 1080p. One credit, for anything up to two hours.
Shortlisting other clippers too? Here's the quick read.
OpusClip also meters by the source minute, from $15/month. Zoupyu bills the stretch you pick with one-time packs. Full comparison on our OpusClip page.
Klap charges per clip made, from $29/month, so length doesn’t move its meter. Zoupyu lets you pick the clips before they are made, with no subscription.
CapCut is a free editor with an AI clip maker, built around files you upload. Zoupyu takes the YouTube or Twitch link and lets you pick the moments before render.
Vizard gives you 60 free credits every month, which is a real free plan; ours is three credits, once. It translates captions into more than 100 languages, where we have verified English. Its paid plans export up to 4K, schedule and publish to your social accounts, and on Business add a shared workspace and a brand kit. Its edit-by-text editor is a good way to reshape a clip.
If you publish talking-head or webinar content in several languages to several platforms, and want one tool that also posts it, Vizard is a sound choice.
Zoupyu is narrower on purpose: find the moments, let you choose and trim them, reframe to vertical, burn in captions, and charge for the stretch you pick. Pick us if you clip long streams, if you clip videos you don’t own, or if the per-minute meter is what hurts.
That is the case it was built for. Vizard spends one credit per minute you upload, so a three-hour stream is 180 credits, and its free plan caps uploads at 60 minutes. On Zoupyu you pick the stretch worth clipping: one credit covers an hour of it, three cover all three hours.
Yes. Zoupyu finds the moments first and shows them on a timeline over your video. You keep or drop each one, move its start and end (edges snap to the nearest sentence), and fix any caption word, and only the moments you kept are turned into clips.
Yes. Paste a Twitch VOD, YouTube or Google Drive link and Zoupyu fetches the video itself, no channel connection needed. Still-live streams are refused until they end. You are responsible for having the right to use and post the footage.
A smaller one. You get 3 credits on signup with no card, and each free credit clips up to 10 minutes of the video. You can preview every clip; HD downloads need a $2.99 single-video unlock or any pack. Vizard’s free plan gives 60 credits (minutes) every month at 720p.
No. Packs are one-time purchases, credits stack, and they never expire. Vizard’s plans are monthly and renew automatically.
English, with word-level timing, burned into the clip. If your content is in another language, run one of your free credits through it and check the output before you buy anything. Vizard documents caption translation into more than 100 languages.
If a job fails for a technical reason on our side, the credit is refunded automatically. For subjective quality complaints we handle it case by case through support.
Paste a YouTube, Twitch VOD or Google Drive link, or upload a file, pick your moments, and see what comes back with captions burned in.
