Terms of Service

By accessing or using Zoupyu ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to all of these terms, you may not use the Service.

We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. Where a change materially affects how your content is used — as the introduction of Slaps in section 5 does — we will tell you before it applies to you.

Zoupyu is an AI-powered video clipping platform. You upload a video or paste a supported link, and Zoupyu automatically transcribes it, identifies the most engaging moments using AI, and generates vertical 9:16 clips with subtitles burned in, ready to post as YouTube Shorts or Instagram Reels.

Zoupyu also operates Slaps, a public feed in which reduced-resolution versions of clips generated on the platform may be shown to other people. It exists so we can learn which clips actually hold attention and use that to pick better moments for everyone. Section 5 sets out how that works and how to keep your clips out of it.

Processing times vary by video length but typically complete in under 5 minutes. We do not guarantee specific clip counts or outcomes — results depend on the content, audio quality, and length of your upload.

You must create an account to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account.

You must be at least 18 years old to use Zoupyu. By registering, you represent that all information you provide is accurate and complete.

You agree not to submit content that:

• Violates the terms of service or community guidelines of any platform (YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitch, etc.)
• Contains hate speech, harassment, or violence
• Infringes intellectual property rights you do not hold
• Promotes illegal activities or products
• Is sexually explicit or harmful to minors
• Features an identifiable person who has not agreed to appear in it, where their appearance is the point of the clip

You must own, or hold all necessary rights to, every video you submit — including rights to any music, footage or contributors within it. Pasting a link to a video does not by itself give you those rights.

This obligation matters more than it used to. Clips may be shown publicly under section 5, so a clip you had no right to submit becomes a clip published without permission. Zoupyu may refuse to process, or may remove, any content that violates these guidelines, with no refund issued for the affected video.

Zoupyu chooses which moments to clip using an AI judge that scores every candidate for hook, arc and value. Until now that judge has never had any outcome data to check itself against — it has never been told which of its picks people actually watched. Slaps is how we find out.

Slaps is a public feed of short clips generated on Zoupyu. People watch it, skip through it, and react to clips they like. We measure which clips hold attention and which get abandoned, and feed that back into how the Service selects moments — so the clips you get next are chosen on evidence rather than on the judge's opinion of itself. Every clip in the feed contributes to that, including yours.

Only the low-resolution preview is used. Slaps serves the same reduced-quality copy the player streams inside your dashboard. The full-quality file — the one you download, and the one an export unlock pays for — is never served to the feed, by anyone, at any time.

It is a genuinely public feed, so be clear about what that means: anyone can watch it, including people without a Zoupyu account. Clips you generate may appear in it by default. If you would rather they did not, there are three ways out and you do not have to justify any of them:

• Hide the project. A switch on the project’s own page takes every clip in it out of Slaps and leaves them in your library exactly as they were. This is the one to reach for first — nothing is lost.
• Ask us. Email support@zoupyu.com and we will do it for you.
• Delete the clips. Deleting a project removes its clips from Slaps and from our storage. So does deleting your account. Nothing we hold survives it — which also means you cannot get the clips back, so use the switch above unless you actually want them gone.

All three take effect promptly and apply to every clip in the project, not just the one you were looking at.

Nothing identifies you. Slaps shows the clip, the AI-written one-line hook, and a count of reactions. It does not show your name, your email, your project titles, or a link back to the source video, and it does not tell viewers who generated a clip.

What we record. For each clip shown we record that it was shown, how long it was watched, and whether it was reacted to. We use that to decide what to show next and to improve moment selection across the Service. Reacting requires an account; watching does not.

We may remove any clip from Slaps at any time, for any reason or none — including on complaint under section 8. Appearing in Slaps is not a promise of views, reach, or continued availability.

Zoupyu is sold as one-time credit packs. There is no subscription, no recurring charge and no automatic renewal — you are only ever charged when you choose to buy a pack. Prices are shown in USD for most visitors and in INR for visitors in India; the currency shown at checkout is the currency you are charged in. All payments are processed securely through our payment provider. Prices may change with advance notice, and a change never affects credits you have already purchased.

Credits do not expire. They remain on your account for as long as the account is active, and they are consumed only when you generate clips. You are charged for the stretch of video you select, not for the length of the file you upload.

If a job fails because of an error on our end, or you cancel it while it is running, the credit is returned to your account automatically.

Refunds. Unused credits are refundable within 14 days of purchase — in full, or pro-rata for the unused portion of a partly used pack. Credits already spent on delivered clips are not refundable as of right. If Zoupyu did not work for you, contact us at support@zoupyu.com; we would rather refund you than have you raise a dispute with your bank. Please contact us before filing a chargeback — unresolved chargebacks may result in account suspension.

You retain full ownership of everything you submit and of every clip generated from it. Zoupyu claims no ownership of your content and does not sell it.

To operate the Service you grant Zoupyu a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to store, process, transcode and clip your video in order to produce your clips; to reproduce, display and publicly perform the reduced-resolution versions of those clips within Slaps and in the course of operating and promoting the Service; and to analyse how viewers respond to them in order to improve how the Service selects moments, as described in section 5.

The Slaps half of that licence lasts only while your clips are in the feed. It ends when you remove them under section 5, when you delete the project or your account, or when we remove them — after which we stop showing them, though copies already downloaded or shared by viewers are outside our control. The licence does not permit us to sell your clips, license them to third parties, or use them in paid advertising without asking you first.

Retention. Clips are stored indefinitely so they stay available in your library and, where applicable, in Slaps. Source videos you upload are deleted from our servers 7 days after upload. Clips generated before 8 September 2026 were subject to an earlier 30-day retention policy and were deleted under it.

All Zoupyu branding, software, and platform content are the intellectual property of Zoupyu and may not be reproduced without written permission.

If you believe a clip in Slaps infringes your rights, features you without your agreement, or otherwise should not be there, write to support@zoupyu.com with a link to or description of the clip and the reason. You do not need a Zoupyu account to complain.

We acknowledge complaints within 24 hours and aim to resolve them within 15 days. Where a complaint is clear on its face we will usually remove the clip from Slaps first and look into it afterwards.

Repeat infringement. Accounts that repeatedly submit content they have no right to may be suspended or terminated under section 10.

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access or error-free operation.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Zoupyu's total liability for any claim arising from use of the Service is limited to the amount you paid for the credit pack in question.

You are responsible for the content you submit. If a claim is brought against Zoupyu because you submitted content you had no right to submit, you agree to indemnify us against it.

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these terms. You may cancel your account by contacting support. Any videos currently processing will complete before termination takes effect.

When an account is deleted, its clips are removed from Slaps and from our storage.

Zoupyu is a trade name of a sole proprietorship registered in India under GSTIN 08BKLPC5046C1ZG, with its principal place of business in Khanpur, Rajasthan, India. The registered legal name and full address are available on request from support@zoupyu.com.

Grievances. Complaints about content, privacy, or your use of the Service may be sent to our Grievance Officer, Vedansh Chauhan, at vedanshchauhan@zoupyu.com. We acknowledge within 24 hours and aim to resolve within 7 days.

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in India.
